My name is Selina, and in my artistic journey, I have always believed that art is the best way to express my inner world, emotions, and dreams. For this creation, I focused on Cambridge University. In just 30 minutes, I was able to capture my vision of the future and my longing for Cambridge in a simple and free-spirited way. While my technical skills are not highly advanced, this line drawing allowed me to express my hopes for the future and my free-spirited artistic style.
Free-spirited Creation
Since I was young, I’ve always been an energetic person who loves to express my thoughts and feelings through art. Although my artistic skills are not the most refined, I understand that the most important thing in art is not perfect technique, but how to convey unique emotions and creativity through the work. In creating this piece, my goal was clear: to use simple lines and elements to express my desire for Cambridge University—an institution full of freedom, academic collision, and endless possibilities.
Cambridge Dreams and the Freedom of the Girl
In my work, the girl represents myself. Her free and lively personality reflects my inner world. Above her head, I have used various icons and architectural elements to express my imagination of Cambridge. These icons float like my thoughts, reflecting my aspirations for the future. For me, Cambridge University is a place full of freedom, exploration, and knowledge—both the destination of my dreams and the starting point for my journey.

Although this piece was created in just 30 minutes, I believe this simple line drawing conveys my desires for the future. The girl is unrestricted, and the architectural icons above her head flow freely, showcasing my idealized vision of Cambridge. This piece was not only part of my Cambridge mock exam but also a way for me to express my dreams.
Throughout this creative process, I am particularly grateful for the support from Unique Art Academy. The inspiration and guidance provided by the school allowed me to unleash my creativity and complete my vision in just 30 minutes.
Ultimately, this work led to an offer from Cambridge University, as well as offers from UCL and the University of Sydney. Although my goal is Cambridge, these opportunities have certainly expanded the possibilities on my artistic journey. In the future, I will continue to boldly pursue the path of art, using my creations to showcase more uninhibited imagination and dreams, inspiring others to chase their own aspirations.
